Meet The Team
Michael Karagiannis / Director
Michael is a founding partner at Square One Advisors, bringing over 10 years of experience in corporate finance services. Prior to founding Square One Advisors, Michael worked in senior managerial roles at leading professional services firms, namely PwC and EY in the UK, Greece and Cyprus. He has a proven track record in providing expert business valuation services to some of the largest global energy and infrastructure funds, as well as leading large-scale financial restructuring projects with significant impact on both large players and local economies.
Michael is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), as well as an MSc in Finance from the University of Warwick.
Costas Spyrides / Senior Advisor
Costas has extensive corporate finance experience, having advised on large Private Equity and corporate transactions internationally.

As a manager with Deloitte’s Corporate Finance Advisory team and as a senior manager with Eight Advisory LLP in London, and previously with Grant Thornton in Cyprus, he has advised on business plan preparation projects, M&A transactions, project finance and restructuring engagements for international corporate and private equity clients, with a focus on the energy, infrastructure, financial services and technology sectors. Costas holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies from the University of Southampton. He is a CFA Charterholder, and holder of the CySEC Advanced certification.
Theodoros Tsikas / Senior Advisor
Theodoros has more than 16 years of professional experience within the investment banking, capital markets and consulting industry. He is a graduate of the Department of Business Administration of Piraeus University, while he holds an Msc. in Investment Management from Bayes Business School.

Theodoros is a results driven advisor with a proven track record in conducting comprehensive financial analysis and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions. He is experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and achieve organisational goals.

He is proficient in financial modeling paired with strong analytical skills and effective communication and presentation abilities, ensuring complex financial data is conveyed clearly to stakeholders.
During his professional career he has participated in more than 40 transactions across the whole spectrum of Corporate Finance​services, with most of them being M&As and company valuations. He served as an Executive Advisor to National Bank of Greece for almost five years, during of which, he was responsible for the structuring, pricing and execution of all single-ticket corporate NPE sale transactions.
